Starting out as a small fishing club in 1955 in the village of Hartley Wintney in Hampshire, HWAS have grown over the years and now have venues that offer fishing to anglers of all abilities and styles.

 

The club has full fishing rights to the Basingstoke Canal, in addition to no less than six lakes and a stretch of the local river Blackwater. Most venues are available on either a day ticket basis or you can buy a season ticket, with permits available from Yateley Angling Centre permits.

With carp stock to over 38lb and plenty of other coarse species present, the HWAS lakes, river and Basingstoke Canal offer enjoyable fishing for both pleasure and specimen anglers alike.
